Another rumor says Sony is buying Epic lol

But it will be fun if Ryse 2 is exclusive to PS4 even being a meh game.

I don't think anybody will buy Epic but yeah can turn out true.

Now Crytek is really close to bankrupt after Ryse commercial failure... the employees are not working due delayed payment.

I guess not... the failure was not it be on XB1 only... they rushed to finish the game in time to launch and spend a lot of money to reach this goal (the game 12 months before release was being remade yet).

To be fair the MS money helped them a bit... I think the situation could be worse if Multiplatforn.

I don't know about Crysis 2 and 3 but Crysis original paid itself on PC... I won't call it a failure.

It helped a lot to sell CryEngine.

Not a big seller though. Used to be bigger as PC only (but probably way more expensive lol)
