What's the cronus for?

It allows you to use any controller on any system you want. If even has custom setting for games like COD, auto sprints, auto fire, auto quick scope. ect.  

And come to think about it it will eliminate my need to buy a new fight stick or pcb when ssf5 comes out.

Also they fixed the 8 min time out and added support for the elite controller on ps4.

You can also write your own script if you want it to do something it doesn't already.
