I'd hate to say it, but good.  MS needs to step their game up and stop relining on decade old games to carry their brand. Halo dieing might just be the best thing that could happen to xbox and their fans. They might get some great new ip's if MS is hungry enough.

I'm slightly less certain.  
MS doesn't seem to care as much as they used to.

It absolutely sucks that Halo is dying in quality, but yeah decreasing sales is kinda what Microsoft is asking for. Halo 4, Halo MCC, and now Halo 5 have done so much harm to the brand.

Makes me wonder if Gears 4 will face the same fate. Its reveal at E3 was lukewarm and remember the "YouTube views" thread DD_Bwest made? The video is below 1 million views. Heck, it hasn't even exceeded 600K views...

I'd bet gears flops too. Passing of a franchises to another developer has never worked. At least I can't think of a time it did. I'd also be willing to be that QB does better than gears. They need fresh blood, They've run every franchise they got into the ground.
