When will a $400 4k 60FPS PC be possible?

It'll happen when 8k is the most common monitor.

So it got me thinking.  If the PS5 standard is 1440P 60/30 FPS will it be good at upscaling them to 4k for our TVs?

And do you think we'll get 1080p 120fps games?

Id hope we would get at least 2k 60, and 120 hz 1080 would really only be useful in vr. Most people don't have native 120hz displays.  And its something I don't see catching on in the main stream.

2K is about the same as 1080p.  With the Nk descriptions they use the horizontal pixels.    2k=2000x1080 is about that.  While 1080p is 1920x1080.

For most cases, 2k is exactly 1080p even.

It's the exact same as running 720p on 1080p screens. There's a perfect 2 to 3 ratio both horizontally and vertically in both cases.

120 fps games could be popular with indies, but really the majority of devs don't prioritize higher frame rates.
