I just peaked at the user review average on Amazon and it's only 2.8/5 stars. I know that probably most of the 1-star reviews are troll reviews, but usually there would be way more positive reviews to offset that.

I know, some of that is reviews being a bit harsher nowadays but even accounting for that its obviously nowhere near as good

meanwhile, TR still has an 86 and only 3 mixed reviews and 80 positive.... Too bad this well made follow up to the franchise is going to a black mark on it's record

I think people are starting to come around to the fact that there's only so much you can do with a first person shooter.

Two weeks later, the user review average on Amazon is still 2.8/5 stars. Safe to say that Halo 5 disappointed many fans.

Some hard fans will say it is the best Halo ever.
But another group of fans will says the game is not a Halo game and I can see why.
It is the Halo view of i343 but it is not what fans expect from a Halo game... they want a old Halo game and i343 won't reach that ever because well it is a new studio with a new view of things.
