after reading impressions and seeing reviews. and you know, the actual gameplay and stuff. this honestly doesnt seem to deserve an 86.

And it won't go up to 86 again because it was a mixed review that dropped it to 85.

Halo 5 has a run-of-the-mill campaign that isn't as interesting or exciting as the one from Halo 4. Of course, that doesn't make the game weak - you can play with pleasure and impatiently wait for the final chapter of the new trilogy. But Guardians shines in a different aspect: the multiplayer portion of the game is phenomenal and will keep you glued to the screen for hundreds of hours.

Yeah it's crazy how disappointing the game has been for the majority of people.

They had it coming. Adding micro-transactions, false advertising, short uneventful campaign, removing split screen. They really weren't thinking of the fans when they made halo 5. Really poor from 343i

I thought the microtransactions were only cosmetic.

Nope the packs you get include vehicles and weapons ... but I think they can only be used in one game mode

Arena is cosmetic only, while warzone also has weapons and vehicles.
