I love watchdogs online and campaign.  The dlc was great too.

People had unrealistic expectations.

How would that even be possible?

Vivendi had control of the company.

Vivendi and Activision became 1 entity controlled by the one group. They as a group sold half their stake in Activision meaning it's no longer controlled by them.

Considering they let Activision out of their grasp I wouldn't worry about them taking over ubisoft.  They would probably sell it on in a few years for a profit.

"According to The Guardian, Vivendi had somewhere in the range of $17 billion in debt and had been trying to rid itself of its large portion of shares in the company in the weeks leading up to the buyout in July."

Vivendi wanted to go and caused the buyout to happen. That's what I meant.
