My friend just bought a labtop that always you to hook it to an external desk top GPU. Apparently any Labtop  with a usb 3.1 will allow it going forward. I can't believe the consoles makers passed on that. It could have been a huge help with vr. Would have also added to the price but would have over come any short falls it would have had operating on the ps4.
Framerate is handled by the PS4.

Consoles are not designed to have multiple hardware configurations, both from a hardware and software perspective. However with that being said, the PS4 already has USB 3.0. It's only slightly slower than sata so with custom hardware it'd probably be technically possible to plug in another GPU.

I thought re projection was handled by the box, unless it's really the second cpu that's doing that task.

VIRTUAL REALITY?
All of this will rely on the creativity ofDreams players, of course. But crucially, MM says, their work won't be stuck in their walled garden. Everything players make in Dreamscan be exported -- to the game development platform Unity, for instance, or to 3D printers. If this works, Dreams (and the PS4) could instantly become one of the most creative tools in digital arts. If hints at other companion software, perhaps for Apple's iPad, are realised, Dreams might be much more than a video game. Full-length animated movies, for instance, could be created in Dreams -- and MM really hopes that artists will pick up that challenge.

So hype! Now just tell me we can build in a real world measurement!

Don't we have a dreams OP?

"Dreams was made in LittleBigPlanet 3.".       " The PGW conference was made entirely in Dreams".   How sweet would that be?

No date is set yet and Alex assures us that Media Molecules prioritizes the final quality of the game against a release date. The news is still pretty good because we were shown the trailer for No Man's Sky remade in the game and the result is stunning!

Alex then talk about some technical details about the game, we will learn that the beta will require a mandatory connection (understandable since they need meta data), and he does not know if this will be the case for the final version. Actually he would love it mandatory because the game is mainly based on the community, but he knows that this may put off some players, so it's in talks at the moment.

We also learn that the library of dreams and objects will be subject to a rating system. We can therefore "upvoter" or "downvoter" items to bring them (or not) forward. But rest assured, there will be a safety, eg the opinion of people "downvotant" whatever they find will have no value, while individuals with good assessments shall be more influencing votes.
