These seem more like "might be handy patents to have" vs "we have a product releasing soon and need parts patented."

The diagrams are simple, and resemble hololens moreso than PSVR.  

These look awesome.
They seem pretty futuristic compared to most things in gaming.  Very cool stuff.
Even though lots of it is simple.
