Better than trying to fit everything in at launch and having a broken game again I guess.

Going off comments made by the halo community manager, I think 343 is trying to make Halo a service instead of a product.

Forge after launch, big team battle after launch, maps after launch, and all free. They'll use them to keep people playing online and buying microtransactions. It has pros and cons for gamers, but would make business sense.

Now I'm really interested which other features have been held back from launch.

Seems like an interesting idea, but I'm not sure if holding back features that people used to expect at launch can be counted towards making a game a service.

I think Driveclub has been doing the service thing the best among the $60 retail games.

Looks more like they didn't have time to finish it for the launch.
MS needs so much it this year.
Sony delayed Uncharted... I guess Halo 5 needed the same delay.

Wont have the whole thing and launching in december...  at this point its glaringly obvious its being rushed for a 2015 release.

There will be another part of the MP just launching in 2016.

What's all the stuff that's been announced to come after launch for Halo 5? Aside from Maps of course.

Master Chief and the main character from ODST that people only remembered because Nathan Fillion voiced him. Also a black guy, an Asian, and a Latina. Because diversity.

Possibly some aliens to fight. That may end up being DLC, though.
