Eh, nah that's not it, I've beaten all 3 games on crushing, it's just been some time.

I couldn't decide whether TLOU or U2 was better before but after playing U2 for the first time since I played TLOU, I now realise how amazing TLOU is. Uncharted 2 is a fantastic game as well but TLOU was just so incredible, no game will ever have such an impact on me, emotionally, ever again. I really wish I could play it for the first time again.

Finally put this in last night. Started with crushing.  Man I need to get use to the controls. While climbing to get to the U boat it took me back and I remembered how breathtaking the scene was when I played it in 2007

I did crushing over the last 2 days.  Easy.  I did it in about 6 hours and I even managed to get the trophy "get 75 kills in a row without dying ". Funny thing Is I didn't get that on my hard playthrough.  I had some epic fails on that one but in fairness first time playing uncharted in a long time.

Yea, dunno. I've been playing UC2 on crushing now and it's way easier to me. Also it's crazy just how much better UC2 is compared to the first game, even in the collection where they tried to bring the first game up to speed you can still seriously tell how UC2 is better in pretty much everything.

That's definitely true but you have to judge U1 as a 2007 game.  Naughty dog before that were making ps2 games.  For its time drakes fortune was stunning graphically and it played like no other action adventure / platformer game.

The story is my favourite because I love the lush green jungles and the fresh blue sky.  It's just great the way the game is mostly on 1 island and you physically travel every step of the way from the plane crash right until you find the statue.  No hopping from country to country.  The story was fresh and the twists were all a surprise.  With 2 and 3 you were expecting then somewhat.

As a game U2 is better but as someone who bought uncharted 1 in 2007 it'll always be remembered with the most nostalgia and for that I'll always love it the most.

Playing through uncharted 2 now I can see what you mean.  I forgot how well made it was.

Drakes fortune will forever be my favourite despite it being inferior.  it will always have nostalgia on its side in terms of being one of the first top class next gen ps3 games and the first uncharted I played.

The story was so fresh and unique and I loved the way once you got on the island from the plane crash you literally travelled every step of the way through the the game. Felt like the first proper adventure game I'd played.  And the story and it's twist were just so fresh.

No matter how good any of the sequels are I'll always remember drakes fortune more fondly.

Just on uncharted 2 I'm only  on chapter 12 but what a fudgy game.  Some of the temples and scenery are just magnificent. I wish I was a 360 convert playing this for the first time.
