Which is unusual that he'd say something like that as a supposed manager at Gamestop considering the well documented supply shortage of the PS4 at the time. You'd think he'd recognize the lacking PS4 sales at the time for what they were and certainly not because people were losing interest in the console. As well, that he'd say the X1 was catching up when it was shown to actually be losing to a supply constrained console should have given us a reason to doubt his claims from then on.

I'll go with what I can be shown and here is what I see. The X1 is way behind the PS4 in the rankings on both Amazon US and Gamestop's online store. The fact that the PS4 Destiny bundle greatly surpassed, in a couple days, what took the $400 X1 SKU almost 2 weeks to accomplish is enough for me to doubt anyone who tries to tell me that the X1 is ahead if only by a little bit.

Well if you look my old NPD prediction thread you will see 80% predict better than VGC numbers I'm not saying he/she didn't have data or do a god job, I'm just saying her/his data is antedoctal like the Amazon ranking.

I use the Amazon ranking to see the places of the sales and extrapolates to US and for now it can't be proved wrong.. he/she uses Gamestop data to extrapolate US.

Like me and ethomaz have mentioned, he's been very wrong lately. He might just have sales data for his/her's stores.
