the hit boxes in the game really are fudgy terrible.  I would be far less angry at some of these bosses if their limbs actually touch me, rather then coming 2 inches on screen within my character so i get hit.  it makes it stupidly hard to figure out where to go to dodge when you cant see wat is actually going to do damage to you

and holy fudge they need to make boss arenas bigger, im sick and tired of my camera fudgy up cause im backed against a fudgy wall.  they need to either get their cameras in order, or make those rooms bigger
Breath, we've all been there. :D

OT: I did it guys, got the Platinum trophy, my NG++ speedrun took me about 3 hours I think, overall it took me ~79 hours to get the final trophy. Still got some Chalices to do and am still thinking of starting a new character.

im about to uninstall the game, reinstall it, dupe items to max my character.  Im sick of the bloodletting beast and getting phantom hit.  he stops and i can put my hand on the screen between where his foot landed and where i am, and i still get it.  I watch videos of people doing him, and he does all these moves letting people attack and giving them chances,  for me hes constnatly running,  im always against and wall and my camera is always fudgy up.. I literrally cant hit him more then 3 times before i die.  and i have done it over 20 times this morning

i spend more time fudgy with the camera trying to survive then i do being able to attack him.  why the fudge do they insist on having a shoebox sized room for a mamoth mother fudge maker.  I have had bigger rooms for hunter battles.

Maybe you should take a break.

Are you using the whip? I found the blades to work terribly against that boss again, you can also enchant the whip with the empty phantasm shell for extra damage.

Otherwise the only tip I can really give you is that if the boss walks towards you and seemingly doesn't stop no matter how long you back of, you can easily front step next to his legs to get behind him, I found that to be pretty useful.

Yeah, if you know where to go, are well equipped and at a high level (at the end of the run I am level 181 I believe) and leave out all the optional stuff, you can be really fast, it's pretty cool imo.

BTW. little PSA I just read on reddit, the handlantern slows down stamina regeneration, so if you're like me and have that thing constantly equipped then you should maybe change that. :D

im using the whip, and going forward to get past isnt orking, i can get it sometimes, but not all the time.   the #1 problem im having is the camera.  Im spending the entire time fighting the camera. its either backed against a wall, or stuck in the ground as im trying to get past him. Ive also had times where it stopped showing me and for 5-6 seconds i was trying to figure out where i was..  I just cant hit O and move the right stick that accurately at the same time.

that room is just so fudgy tiny

Yeah the room really is kinda annoyingly tiny, have you tried fighting the boss without lock on? Maybe that'll work for you.
