NA, i've always felt this game may not be revived as well as the previews lead us to believe
Why? If you mean that reviewers seem harsher this gen then I agree but I think this game will definitely be the best "souls" game yet

Yes. Reviewers flipped a switch at the start of the gen and everything is getting marked down lower than last gen.

everything but Nintendo games. Next gen gameplay (hate that phrase) isn't expected of them

That is because every Nintendo game is reviewed by tons of Nintendo fans that still view everything Nintendo through rose tinted glasses, nobody that has grown up loving those Nintendo franchises and has been playing them their whole life will be able to write a review for a new Mario or Zelda without being insanely biased.

Fortunately Bloodborne will largely be reviewed by huge Souls fans as well, so that really shouldn't have much trouble landing a highscore ;)

I think reviewers have been ever so slowly getting harsher/better. Pff Nintendo has never been excluded. You guys just think that because the only Nintendo games you hear about are the really good ones.

Here are a bunch of recent games published by Nintendo with bad meta scores.

And if you go off just exclusives Nintendo paid for, it gets even worse.

Well I'm not even denying that the really high scoring Nintendo games are also actually really good, but I'd still say that Nintendo games on average get rated more leniently than non Nintendo titles.

That's because we all love Nintendo. Some people just don't realise it

I feel like everyone will love the game, but critics will give it 8's.
All aboard the hype train.

I think Smash Bros Wii U and Bayonetta 2 are awesome. In fact, I'd be willing to say that for right now I think the highest quality exclusives are currently on Wii U.

Honestly, the press can't seem to jerk itself off fast enough to this game. If Dark Souls 2 got a 91 Meta then I doubt Bloodborne will be far away from that score.

The press hate to be fooled more than once. DSII got quite a bit of backlash after release from fans. If reviewers picked up on that and were influenced by that there is a danger that Bloodborne will suffer a bit for it.

You'd think they would then not be posting articles about how much they loved getting their dog kicked by the game. Personally I think you guys are all just being scared beetches.

Previews can often be misleading. There might be something they notice once they play through more of the game that they feel they can latch onto and gather some hits

Yeah Bloodborne is 90+
