ive been keeping my insight around 12, but i have a crud load of the consumables that increase your insight. I picked up a rune that increase the rate i get echoes. i love it. also got one that increases frenzy res by 200 lol thatll come in handy for that door with the big dude

my mobs are hard enough as is lol the snake dudes are tough

Interesting. Maybe it's best to save the insight items then.

Supposedly, there are things you can only see with a certain level of Insight. It also supposedly unlocks new items.

yup thats whative been thinking so far, save up a crud load of those so if i need it higher later, i can just jump to it, and in the mean time keep most guys low

Once you get to Cathedral Ward there doesn't seem to be any particular order that you must fight the bosses in. I avoided both Vicar and Blood-starved while I grinded for levels and explored. The Witch I kinda stumbled across and I had heard she was fairly easy so I gave it a shot. I finally decided to give Vicar a shot and then I decided it was time to deal with Blood-starved.

In which direction, roughly, is the blood-starved beast? The Vicar is easy to find, but then there are two ways (left and right) close to the cathedral that lead to a more swampy territory

Also, I found a door that requires a password. Is a boss behind that?
