If he still plays for liverpool that means he misses the first 9 league matches of the season as well as quite a few Champions league and other cup matches.

So it seems 9 games is international level and he can only appeal the £65,000 fine, not the ban.

These matches means nothing... Portugal needs to win over 3 goals difference with USA losing to Germany to start to thing in math to classify... so Germany and USA are 99% classified already.
