The console looks okay at worst, cool at best. The controller looks a bit weird to me, but I understood the reference.

The exaggeration is really funny though. "This is the worst gen for LE consoles". "That looks really ugly". It doesn't look that bad, really. If it looked atrocious, then the announcement video on YouTube would've gotten a substantially lower like to dislike ratio, but that's not the case.

Everything about this sucks. The console looks lazy, the controller is awful, and the 4 "classics" are like.. an insult to anyone who has played Star Wars console games.

 The silver lining though, is maybe this means more (better) classic SW games are coming. Like Episode 1 Racer, Republic Commando, Jedi Knight, the other two Super games, and of course, KOTOR.

 I guess it's just hard to design good special consoles. But how do they not have the PS4 light changed to a lightsaber? Fire this artist.

That one looks a little disproportionate to me. Even if you don't think it's the best, that doesn't automatically make it bad.
