He definitely implied they are lying. The amount of people defending ioi too is bonkers. First thing that struck me is his claim the KNOW as a matter of fact they are right in those areas. When, he hardly gets USA right.

Also love the bit about him saying Sony's numbers are estimates to... Cool story bro, that's why Sony never says "we have sold 10,592,544 units so far" unlike what vgc shows. They said it's now over 10m and I'm a hell of a lot more confident that Sony's internal estimates percent error is with in the margin that they definitely crossed 10m already.

well to be fair ioi's reasoning behind not updating until he can gather better data is appropriate, because otherwise he would just be setting himself up for some future failure using the same system. On the other hand claiming 99% accuracy when that is clearly not the case is rediculous
