So you're liking it for non combat reasons?

is it as gratuitously sexual as the trailers make it look?

Sort of.  It's there, but it's kind of like "This is sexy, but also, pay attention to the story."  Though, I do have her in the swimsuit where she has the bigger dog (One of her swimsuits also shrinks her dog for whatever reason), so I do enjoy seeing her run.  There's also less sexy stuff and you can have Eve in normal wear or whatever.  I can't say they just leaned into the sexiness, they left tasteful stuff for those who want it.

Combat is still good.  I was just having issues with the beginning.  The game is super bi-polar.  It tries to be horror, then it stops being horror.  So in the beginning, there's a lot of corridor like areas where you can't see what's coming, so the enemies will jump out and attack you.  It forces you to go a bit more slowly to avoid those traps.  Then the next area is a open world like sandbox where everything is in front of you.  So I was enjoying that part since I had more control and I was able to be more reckless.  So like, I could run around, go kill things, maybe stealth to get instakill hits, etc.  But there were some instances where I wasn't using the combat to its fullest, so it was hard in that respect.  So in the second large area, it's a bit more challenging, so I want to be able to do more combos.  I've been button mashing.  The game also goes back into horror dungeon areas, so I feel if I combat better I wouldn't mind just aggroing enemies and fighting them.  It's just the combat isn't well suited for multi enemy attacks vs single enemy attacks.

This will be kind of insulting.

I played like 20 minutes of Lords of the Fallen, and it gives me that feeling of like "did the devs play their own game?"

At least on a TV.

It's a little frustrating to read anything.

Bottom right corner, the square and triangle are easy to see, but R1 and R2 are kind of hard to differentiate.

Kind of goofily on my part, when I opened up the game, it had one of those agreement things, that is only controllable with the right stick.  I was expecting either left stick or directional buttons. But neither worked, so I became concerned that the game froze or something.

I find it kind of frustrating when a game has a bunch of button combos, especially when they're hard to read.
