Just beat beyond. dang, it's a good game. I remember people talking nonstop shame about it though. I thought it was because it didn't live up post heavy rain but I think it's just as good maybe better. Ellen page was great as was Willem Dafoe. The choice at the end was compelling and dang, I couldn't figure out Aiden so the twist was crazy

Finished the witcher 3.

Solid B from me. Lots of potential with great world building and environments, but it failed in a lot of other areas imo. Combat was good but didn't mesh with traversal. Game badly needed a way to exit combat stance. I died a fair amount of times from getting stuck on geometry I should have been able to jump over, and moving around enemies was clunky at a distance. Also slightly annoying when running to an objective and having random enemies slow you down.

Writing was pretty nice but the on screen choices a bit too often were misleading. I restarted the game about 5 times because Geralt said something completely opposite to how I was role playing him. One time it was pretty odd where late game an entire conversation had zero choices and Geralt was stuck saying things I didn't feel he should say. On the topic of choice, the majority of the time it felt shallow. Was really obvious when NPC responses could cover both dialogue options. Even had one point where an NPC said "what, you hadn't heard?" in a dark and said tone, only to follow it with "she lived happily ever after." Maybe since I'm a dev I payed more attention to this stuff then I should, but it really hampered my experience.

Was happy with the outcomes of my choices at least. Out of all the avoidable deaths, not a single one of my friends died. Ending felt a bit off but it was nice and matched my play style. However I looked online and was just one dialogue choice away from much worse endings. Don't agree with how CD determines the endings since I feel I lucked into a good one.

Liked the enemy designs and loved the more human monsters.

Side quests became really repetitive late into the game. It kinda ruined the magic and reminded me it was a game.

Started bioshock. Trying to platinum in one playthrough. The "use no vita Chambers" really detracts from the fudgy game. I understand the reason it's a trophy. Its just so annoying saving after EVERY room. Good thing I have Bioshock infinite.

I did platinued in one run if I remember correctly.

I don't use vita Chambers even when I played for fun... I don't like this feature.
