PSBlogcast Interview: Ratchet and Clank Movie releasing in August 2016 - NeoGAF

On the PlayStation Blogcast, Ryan Clements interviewed Shaun McCabe of Insomniac Games. During the interview Shaun confirmed the movie is coming out August 2016 (this wasn't previously known, right?). I don't have the timestamp, but it is about half-way in the episode. Now, when I go to IMDb, it says the movie is coming out in April 2016. August 2016 is quite far off. Wouldn't it been better if the movie comes out before the game so you can increase awareness of the series?
