Quote from: DerNebel on Mar 05, 2016, 06:34 AMOnly played 3 matches yesterday, cause I got a cold, so playing gave me a headache. But I could definitely tell that I had an advantage actually having played Uncharted multiplayer in general and UC4 multiplayer specifically before, lots of noobs out there. :p

But that's good, I want new blood for Uncharted MP. Anyway, gonna fire it up again, still haven't played the new map.
New map is on the roofs of a fancy city if you didn't know. Areas kinda blend together, but that's about its only negative.

Yeah, I've seen some screenshots, excited to try it out.

It's ok. TLOU MP was better

Any word on co-op? Cause uc2 and uc3 had co-op, and they were great (specially uc2's co-op)

Also. I am having a blast, I hope there are some bigger and more "risky" maps. Also some that offer some more verticality in then. Like the high rise map in uc2/3

There is co-op.

I just played multiplayer with an apple in my mouth.

Physical apple.

No where else to put it.  It was weird.

I went 11-9 in my second game.

Elsewhere in the interview, Cogburn was also asked about co-op, to which he replied "we'll be talking about co-op later."

I could see it not being in at launch though, which would piss me off a little.

that doesnt actually confirm co-op, they could just say "yeah there will be no co-op".

ehhh if its not too late i dont mind much. obviously id love it if it where at launch, but Co-op is my least important mode. maybe im just saying this because im at a bargaining state, because im afraid there wont be co-op.

UC4 has been in development since late 2011, so im not sure whats going on with the UC4 multiplayer team. it just has 8 maps at launch, actually thats what they are hoping for. and still no word on co-op, other than whats mentioned above (i can understand that they dont want to show it, since its usually taken from single player set pieces). what ever changes in the story shouldnt effect multiplayer at all, so they had a lot of time to create content and maps.

Dunno, if there's absolutely no plans for Coop then they'd be doing themselves no favours by saying "we'll be talking about Coop later".

I simply think that Uncharteds multiplayer team isn't very big and they aren't only thinking about the launch I hope but are also already working on post launch stuff, so that won't be too far off, also they continued support on Uncharted 3 for quite some time after launch so they didn't really move on to the next game immediately. 8 maps at launch is kinda disappointing, I was hoping for at least 10, then again Uncharted 3 might have had 11 but 4 of those were reskinned Uncharted 2 maps and Uncharted 2 also launched with just 8 maps. I just hope ND's post launch support plan for the multiplayer is good, maps are apparently going to be free but I also hope they are going to come relatively quickly and frequently.

Uncharted 3 got 12 maps in about 5 months, 8 of them were the remaining Uncharted 2 maps also reskinned, if they can keep up a comparable release schedule for 4 then I'll be a happy camper, maybe a new map every 2 weeks alternating reworked old and new maps.

To me it seems silly to say "we'll be talking about a feature later", only to say "yeah, that feature doesn't exist."
I'm not finding a lot on co-op, what I heard on GAF is that there are co-op preorder bonuses.

Not gonna lie, this match felt kinda dirty, still I guess I'm using this as a finishing point for this stress test.
