Evans and Healey weren't quite so cagey when I asked them if Dreams would be a Morpheus VR launch title. Though the pair wouldn't outright confirm it, Healey admits, "It's an obvious thing to do." Adds Evans: "Let's just say Anton Mikhailov, who helped build the first-ever Morpheus prototype, is at Molecule now. ... So I'll leave it at that."

3d modelling in vr or ar would be amazing but this game would be more fun to play in vr

this looks like 3D LBP to me.

people can create assets and share them.  other people can modify those assets.  people can use those assets to build dreams aka levels.  you can play other peoples dreams.  you can create your own dreams.  you can share your dreams.

how is this not 3D LBP?   i think they are putting a bigger focus on crafting than in LBP and the crafting and playing seem a bit more integrated but it's the same general idea if you ask me.   it also seems like the massively simplified the crafting tools to make things more accessible.

It's kinda like LBP3D, except it's LBP3D on steroids.

In fact one of the bubbles even shows a recreation of a 2D LBP level haha.

I just read The thread on gaf about this. And holly fudge, just from the little bit of information that i got it blew my mind.

It seems like you can take anything you want from any bodies game, even the full game and add and expand it. It reminds me of when me and a friend would draw on the same paper, I'd draw something then she would.  I'd make a shape and she would add to it. We got some really crazy art work, because it was two minds in one canvas. Now you can have 1000 or millions minds in One canvas.

"You might be an FPS [first-person shooter] guy, so FPS is your entry. But as you're playing the FPS, you open the door and it's a fudgy desert and you're in Journey. You walk out and then you're walking through the desert and then you see ... a spaceship and you climb into it

This is about the craziest Idea for a game, or game creation I've ever heard of. And i think it's going to lead to some very amazing experiences.

PM is all but confirmed, yay!

They hired Anton and also hinted at it in a response. Guess their renderer is 60fps with low latency.

What if Sony makes a 3d printer for the ps4 that was pretty cheap?

That'd be silly  :P

Just give dreams a way to export stl files so that people can print them themselves. Or offer it as a service where you pay $20 and they ship it to you.

Not if they turned trophies into printable items from the game.
