Assuming the KS gets a nice late surge, it will get past $6 million. However, it won't get close to the $10 million Yu Suzuki would need to make Shenmue III open-world.

Best case scenario is Sega to give Suzuki Yakuza 5's source code.  It would be a matter of reskinning that and not putting voice acting for everyone.

Hopefully, the announcement of a physical PS4 version will speed things up. I still don't think it's going to hit $10 million, but Yu Suzuki should still end up with a good sum of money.

Looks like the PS4 physical version should've been announced earlier. Otherwise, the KS wouldn't have ever been anemic as it was over the past week.
