What if they started off the conference with a Crash Bandicoot reveal, new Monster Hunter PS4, slim ps4 + permanent price drop?

in my opinion there is only one way for sony to top this years conference and it begins with these words,..

"i'd like to welcome miyamoto to the stage..."



this years conference had surprise announcements of things people never thought possible.  nintendo bringing it's games to playstation is the only thing impactful and surprising enough to rival TLG, FF remake, and shenmue 3.

Nintendo NX is a handheld device that features remote play with ps4 going both ways?
And sony announces B/C with wii /u controllers and games!

it's a very unlikely announcement which is why it would surprise everyone and win E3.

...but wiiU game will never go to ps4 for the same reason ps3 games aren't coming.  the technology is too different to emulate.

Eh, would that really be crazy? So many people think, maybe stupidly, that Nintendo will go third party or be bought by Sony.

Bigger twist would be if Nintendo and Sony were partnering to make the NX. Finally releasing the Nintendo PlayStation.

Yeah true, there's not many big surprises left that they could do.

Next year's show doesn't have to beat this one.  That's a tall order, which would pretty much require announcing, Nintendo, or announcing Half Life 3, Crash, and something else crazy.  

All it really has to do though, is make a great conference, and there's a lot of room to do that.  

Sucker Punch is working on something.
Gran Turismo is still needing to be shown.  
SSM needs to show stuff.
Bend Studio, and QD still need to show stuff.  
PixelOpus has to have something, and this is just first party.  I'm sure there's lots of third party stuff too.

Yeah I was thinking this, usually Gamescom is just indies and smaller titles but I think this year they'll have something first party to announce.

We'll also know more about Dreams and how it plays. Alex Evans purposely didn't give us much information during E3.
