Finally something on story mode and it's not just drawn pictures!!!

Edit: Argh, dang this is literally an expansion which will be an, at least free, update coming in June.

Seems like there will be 2 story modes this time... the character story will be read at launch and the cinematic story expansion will be out in June.

The cinematic story will place between SFIV and SFIII... well it is the time frame of SFV.

This really makes me wonder if I should wait until the story mode is out to get the game, then again I feel like if I want to stand even the slightest chance of getting somewhat decent at the multiplayer portion of this game I have to be there day 1. Hmm, decisions decisions.

There's only going to be one release of the game anyways.  No point in waiting.  Get some replay in the summer.

Not sure if it's new.  Street Fighter 4 original had video endings/intros.  I never finished the game with everyone (In any of the Street Fighter 4s) but supposedly the stories interconnect.

SFIV did have the normal stories like old SF... it is most picture panels or little animations than cinematic.

The new one is different more like MKX stories.

Well it might be cheaper by June, so that's the main reason I'm considering to wait. But then again buying later will take valuable time for learning the game as well as earning credits for unlocking characters away. I'm assuming that by June at least the second DLC character will have released and I get the feeling that I wanna try and get them all.
