Proving that the list is not 100% accurate because it totally left off a character that would be announced later.

Vega was my omission. Vega was announced before Ken. And so what if people call Dhalsim "sim"? But yeah they were playing around with characters for sure. Of course they're planning DLC characters. Why wouldn't they? That list also had Rashid and Laura a long time before. I'm sure it was accurate till that point.

Ummm no dude. Vega was not just your omission. He's not on that leak least you linked at all. No. He was NOT announced before Ken. Ken and Necalli were announced in July, with Ken being first and Necalli about 2 weeks later. Vega was announced in August. People calling Dhalsim "Sim" is most definitely important to consider when trying to figure out who "Sim" is and that does not sound, in any way, like it would be Necalli. So that's two missing names on that list that were confirmed AFTER the list was "leaked". The list is not 100% accurate of the characters we know now to exist in the game and cannot be the initial roster due to the number of characters listed, unless we're being toyed with by Capcom and Ono and there are more than 16 at release. They got a lot right but considering the odd omissions I don't think they had the whole story when they leaked that list. If Alex is Day 1 or early DLC, I'll concede that Ono planned him from the start. If he's not, I don't think we'll ever be able to say for sure.

Leak Fighter V continues, after speculation and teases we now pretty much have complete confirmation of the first 6 DLC characters thanks to dataminers doing their thing with the PC beta.

The characters are

Kinda sucks that all this stuff is getting leaked, it kinda takes the fun out of the pre-release phase but what can you do... at least they can't leak the designs of the characters and the story mode is also still a complete mystery.

If Alex happens early on then we'll know Ono was yanking us. Though I'm pretty sure he knew in advance that people really wanted Alex. What's interesting to me is the 16th character being named "Fan". I assume that's not how you actually spell it. Tons of people were certain the final character would be named Zen.
