So this is Microsoft's way of saying sorry for Halo 5 removing splitscreen.

Now we will be able to play online on virtual couches with each other, and look over to see our friends sitting there. Virtual Reality will enable split screen once again!

And you'd want to do this why?

In practice, there's not really any reason to.  Perhaps if you had a small TV, this could make it a bigger TV.

In theory though, you could put together some incredible things.

-Someone suggested that you could have an incredible view out the window.  (Which doesn't really add much, but it'd be cool.)

-What I would want to do, and actually this is an idea I had for PS Home.  Is add a social aspect to it.  You could have your friends in the same virtual room as you, and you could be looking at your own screens.

The 3 people that wanted that should be happy. Lol.

It would be okay, if you didn't required a pc to use it.

Like I said in the other thread, it's remote play with a PC as a middleman and an expensive pair of goggles on your face.

I've got all this power sitting here, I might as well use it for something!
Glorified webcamming would be sweet!

I was actually driving home about 5 minutes ago thinking that VR would be amazing in home if it was still around.

How would that even work?

Everyone would have a webcam and your super sweet PC would render your friend's couches, faces, and stuff.
