I'm skeptical about Minecraft beyond the original. My gut tells me that future Minecraft titles like AR, VR, or a straight sequel will be nowhere near the success story of the first one.

No I mean a VR update to the current minecraft, like what modders have done for years.

Microsoft could make it only work with OR and not Vive.

Let me put it this way, if it's not the original Minecraft and/or requires some new equipment to partake in, I doubt it will work out. Minecraft's accessibility is one of its biggest draws. Start putting up big hurdles to the experience like a several hundred dollar headset, to experience something like Minecraft in VR of all things, and I'm pretty sure it's not going to work.

No not PC exclusive, OR exclusive. Can't even use other PC VR devices like vive.

unless Ocolus them selfs had a contract with them, i doubt it will be exclusive just for the sake. guess we will have to see, might be timed. the VR landscape is a new one, so we gotta see how things pan out.

If they start an exclusive head set war then vr will fail . I want vive  for pc and pm for ps4. It's bad enough I'm buying two, I will not buy 3. And if sony announces pc support for PM then I'll only get one. They really need to think about this.
