Halo splitscreen co-op RIP 2001-2015

Playing a online game verse someone? Sure, I get that.

Playing a online sim/sandbox with someone? Sure, I get that too.

However I don't understand the fun in playing co-op with them. It's practically the same as playing with AI co-op. You can just talk to them.


With couch co-op you can actually look over at your friends, and just have a fun ol time.

Online coop can be just as good.  Some of my best time last gen was on Resident Evil 5.  I used to send an MSN message to my friend "RE5?" and he'd be online right away.  We beat that game like 10 times.
