Either it's CGI that's trying to look like the game, or it's using the game engine. Sure doesn't look like the CGI shown in the past.

To tell you the truth, I was about to say that Lara's model looked like the model they used for the FMV intro to the first one.  I will say though, when she actually climbs up the platform, that looked like it was engine.
