Watched "Lucifer" a 2019 Malayalam/Kerala India movie from my home state in India.

I just love these action flicks from India, they remind me of the old Karate movies from the 1980s and 1990s I watched of Jackie Chan.

Only Indian films I've seen are RRR and Cirkus and one random netflix one that I think involved a hotel. I only remember a standoff scene.

Yeah it was better than other modern marvel movies, but modern marvel movies are just so bad.

Mostly was just boring and uninteresting.

I think the biggest issue was it could have been another 30 minutes longer. It was good at its current length but things felt rushed in the movie, imo

I dunno.  

I liked that there was an actual story driving the movie.  the mom angle wasn't amazingly unique but at least the action felt justified.

most action movies it feels more like the plot is decided after they come up with what action they want instead of picking a plot first. 

great action movies have a real plot.  matrix. Batman dark knight.   terrible action movies don't.  matrix 2 and 3.  most every superhero movie. 

so yeah,. not an amazing movie I'll treasure for years to come but I liked it and I've hated nearly every marvel movie I've watched for at least a decade.
