Tyler Hoechlin(Superman & Lois) and Henry Cavill are still the best ones to play superman so far though. IMO

It's moving faster than a lot of other things. The Batman II probably would've come out first, but it's currently tracking for late 2026.

Finally watched. Not a fan of the casting, looks meh.

Why does he react when hit in the back of the head!?!? You'd think that would have been a shot they wanted to use to make him seem non human, but instead he feels like a guy on a movie set. I always liked the shot of a bullet shattering off his eye in the movie 20 years ago.

But I think that's the opposite of what they're going for.

I feel like a lot of the Snyder Superman was "he's a god among men", whereas I feel like Gunn is pushing more on the human element.

I like supe being emotionally human but how can you make a movie where he's not a god among men?

Will be interesting if he pulls it off.
