Scooby Doo Where are you came out in 1969

1980's would also include Scooby Doo and Scrappy Doo (which is generally disliked relatively), 13 Ghosts of Scooby Doo (which I think is reasonably liked), and A Pup Named Scooby Doo.

The 80's were a big time for Scooby Doo....

I have too much fun with this stuff... Can't be healthy. :'(

iTunes hasn't been helping. Smallville was $15 for ~217 episodes. That's less than 9 cents an hour.

I watched the anime movie Lonely Castle in the Mirror.

The movie has some pretty mediocre reviews.

The movie definitely has issues with things like pacing and whatnot. I completely understand the complaints that the reviews mention, but wifey and I loved it.

It's been a while since a movie hit this hard.

It's like my brain is like yeah the reviews are definitely fair. And my heart is like this is an outrage, it deserves better!

Automatic 5/10 max for that wolf girl in the thumbnail.

I watched "No one will save you" since it had good reviews. I liked it. Did a lot of cool things.

Oh fine you made me watch the trailer. I guess it's just a mask.

Since no one will watch the movie anyways, I want to talk about it.

Spoiler for the premise:
So basically there are 7 teenagers who are struggling in their life. A few of them are getting bullied at school. One of them is struggling after their sister passed away. One of them is getting abused by their dad.

They all are transported to this castle in one of their mirrors.

They are offered:
They have 12 months to find a key and get a wish granted. But they'll forget everything that happened at the castle.
Or they can keep their memories and not have a wish granted.
There is one rule that they can not stay past 5, or they'll die.

The kids try looking for the key. But for the most part they are just keeping the castle as a safe space.
Spoiler for The Ending:
The one girl who was getting attacked by her dad stays after 5, and most of the other kids were still there looking for her. They all end up dying.

The last girl finds the key and uses the wish to bring the other 6 back.

And you find out that the kids all go to the same school, but they come from different time periods.

You find out that the sister had promised the brother she would ask God to grant one of his wishes, and he asks for the chance to go to school with her.

You find out that the wolf girl was actually the sister who passed away.

And you find out that the girl who was getting abused by her dad is now the counsellor for several of the others. That she's already been watching out for the younger kids as an adult for quite a while.

I'll probably stop subscribing or only subscribe for a month here and there if they raise the price. Good shows are few and far between these days tbh

Have you watched any Studio Ghibli movies?
Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, Howl's Moving castle?
