Star Wars brought in about 6.6 million over the weekend, 2.6 foreign, 4 US.
Not bad.

$2,040,557,590

$2,186,772,302

It'd be cool if it could crawl its way there.

I don't think it looks that bad.

Deadpoll was fine.

I watched the second Divergent movie yesterday on Telecine Play (same than HBO Go but for Telecine movies instead HBO)... I found the story interesting and I guess I watch the 3rd on cinema.

Quote from: Legend on Feb 13, 2016, 11:51 PMOh I had no idea Elvis was local. Just thought it was the super cheap theater company everyone had.

Ceilings have mold stains, videos often have burns in them, speakers are blown out, but it's cheap!

Skip church!
Ogden 6/Tivoli are cheap ticket movie theaters. Definitely local but sounds the same as what you described. I think they're 3 dollars now though.

I can beat cheap though. Sis works at Regal, gets free movies.

Ghostbusters looks like pure shame. Hope it goes down in flames. They are making it over the top nonstop comedy. Something like Jump Street but jump Street was never a classic and the premise was always stupid to begin with so making it into a spoof worked. Also, hill is funnier than all those. Actually, McCarthy is so unfunny and so fudgy annoying that it detracts from the comedy and just makes it cringe worthy. And Tatum worked well with Hill. Thus making that duo better than this cast. I'm not even going to touch the black lady slapping the ghost out of McCarthy or being "not good at the science stuff but I'm from the streets yo." I think Egon is turning over in his grave.

And they have the audacity to play "homage"  to the original while completely butchering it's name

Is the Deadpool post-credits scene up on YT yet?

I'm not, his costume looks terrible and he looks terribly out of place.  Like, this looks to be such an important scene between Stark and Cap, and then "Oh here's Spider-man".  There's no build :/ and takes away from what might be happening.

Yes, but it seems so "I'm out of patience, here's Spider-man Children!"  Like, in no situation is Spider-man an ace in the hole.  Why hide him like that?  It'd be better to hide Black Panther or whoever else is new in this movie.  Or better yet, hide everyone new.  There were also very serious issues with why Spider-man joined Stark, and unless they have something else that emotional, why would he join Iron Man over Cap?
