yes i actually can solve the megaminx style and gear puzzles, and plently of other shapes like the curvy copter and what not.

Nice. Puzzles are actually my number one hobby. Games come second for me.

Only puzzle I have issues solving is the square 1.

i was actually a big puzzle geek and going to the twisty forums was a daily routine for me before i really focused on gaming.
you have trouble with the square-1? i actually think it's pretty easy!

well I always figure things out instead of looking up algorithms. The square one just didn't mesh with me. Same with the rubik's ufo, but that was simple enough

the only cubes i had to look up solutions for were the latch cube and the Square 2

I can solve an SQ1 by reducing it to a 2x2x3 now

Anyways, nowadays I'm cubing more than I'm gaming. I build some puzzles by hand and design others via solidworks, though I've never printed one through a professional 3d printing site yet. It's too expensive for me lol. Right now I'm building a 5x5 Trabjer's octahedron and a 3x3 triangular prism, the latter requiring more epoxy than I've expected (should've bought plastic sheeting).

I haven't cubed in a long time sadly. Was in the middle of making my Vertol Tetrahedron when I switched over to game dev.
