That info has been moved to the color of thread titles. A white thread means new posts, a grey thread means no new posts, and a blue thread means you've been quoted/mentioned.

Ah, that also works, but I kinda liked the shapes and colors to the side. I thought that system worked quite well and GAF does something similar to that, too.

Just noticed there is the "like" button at the bottom of each person's comment. Interesting to see how that turns out and greatly reminds me of Bulbagarden.

We aren't trying to be gaf 2.0, but fyi mobile gaf colors titles instead of using icons.

Anyway I can add back in the icons as an option, it just won't be too high on my priority list. The icons are bad because they are too big for mobile users. Would rather enhance and perfect the new system and see how it goes.

Ah, I don't use mobile, but I definitely understand if you decide not to use icons. I don't mean to bring up GAF so much. It's just that I find both GAF and 2.0 to be very similar.

Oh no it's not a problem. GAF is great!

I'll update us to 2.0 as is, and then if after a while you or others still prefer the icons, I can try to work them in as a user setting.




Also I feel so proud with the new event countdowns! They update in real time, and can be highlighted without going all crazy. Now that that's finished, I'm on cleanup duty. 2.0 should be ready in a couple days.
