We don't know that yet

it will. Sony always said its a very important thing for them. no way are they gonna fudge that up.

Those specs any that bad.

how many people have those specs? those who dont need to upgrade, thats an extra cost (an expensive one too). it will get in the way.

exactly. pc guys talk about how much better things are then they used to be but a user still has to educate themselves which most won't or aren't capable of doing.

PM might flop but i think it has the best chance.  sony will sell a package with the camera and headset bundled and this are guaranteed to work. that has a much wider potential audience then OR.

Sony has great relationships with third party devs and publishers. anyone interested in VR will have likely been contacted by sony. Sony also has a stable of first party and second party devs working on VR. they been in the game for so long now and have the connections, resources and brand name to get as many developers behind PM, much more than ocolus.

and one thing people tend to forget, Sony has been selling hardware and PS consoles around the world for 20 years now. the same reason why PS1 succeeded is that Sony sold its product efficiently around EU, Asia and other regions. bundling it with the PS4 will also help a lot. the only advantage Oculus has is that it can run on better hardware, but thats about it. PM has every other advantage.
