other than that guy...
Seems to me that he could be referring to another reseller though since he says "I'm sticking with places like GMG" like he hasn't used this site

Bad stuff:
Game has bad slowdowns on PC when it really shouldn't.  I guess even the PS4 version doesn't have these issues.

Good stuff:
Just about everything else.

Awesome stuff:
It actually can use DualShock 4 natively with input prompts!

What slow downs? I notice some dips here and there . But nothing that bothers me.

Pi and I have 970s. And I have an amd cpu

My only real problem with the game is bad dialogue, I guess it's expected with an open world game tho.

That's what they say.

A few people have complained about it regardless of specs.
Someone on chertz said it was as bad as Unity.

Arkham Asylum in particular had poor lip syncing.

Pi did you run a system test? I did and had an average of 54 FPS, and a low of 34. Which is why my average dropped from 59 and it was with the bat mobile in the rain that caused that Slowdown.

Geforce experience seems to be messed up with Batman too. It says I should have everything set to low and play at 1360x768  :o

Yeah.  This run gave me
Minimum - 39
Average - 56

Weird.  :o

I'm only a few hours in but quite disappointed
It's annoying that drones plague a lot of the streets, if i want to beat up some random dudes I don't want to be almost instantly killed by drone gunfire/forced to get back into the batmobile
Where are the indoor areas? My favorite parts in every game and they are mostly gone, even stealth challenges take place outside
AR challenges replaced challenge rooms? Lame
And something feels off about the combat, like the timing for some things are all wonky (difference between slow downs and regular time), plus the camera seems more obnoxious than in the previous games letting you see even less of the surroundings due to the way it's scripted

Batman: Arkham Knight on PS4 is a technical tour de force - Digital Foundry

Quote from: Quote #1"Towering above all other changes is the scale of Gotham City. At an estimated five times the size of the last game, Arkham Knight demands a rendering range not seen on older platforms. PS4 capably delivers on this too, with only minor texture pop-in when zipping between buildings - using Batman's extended range grappling hook, or driving at pace in the Batmobile. Draw distances are convincingly broad, and it's possible to even see lamplights from across the city, giving the urban sprawl a real sense of consistency as you leap from roof to roof."

Quote from: Quote #2"Gotham City is not only more intricately detailed, but better presented in general. At a native 1920x1080 resolution, the PS4 version pushes far beyond the 1280x720 with no AA of previous console entries in the series. The crisp image is backed by a post-process anti-aliasing technique too, tackling jagged edges well in most scenarios, with the exception of a pixel-crawl effect on distant objects. As an extra, we also get filters such as film grain (noticed in the Batmobile's battle mode), plus a light chromatic aberration pass that appears along the screen's edges.

The result is a slicker, more cinematic look to Arkham Knight than was ever possible on last-gen hardware. The game also aces the last PC release via some impressive atmospheric effects, adding in heavy rainfall and rising plumes of smog across the distant city streets. Gotham City is noticeably drenched from top to bottom; unlike the light patter of snowflakes falling in Arkham City, rain weighs down heavily on Gotham with splashes and ripples on the road surface. Impressively, rain is also properly shaded by nearby lighting, tinged to whatever neon colour it passes by."

Quote from: Quote #3"In line with the seamless nature of the game's world, Rocksteady makes the effort to minimise the use of pre-rendered cut-scenes on PS4 in favour of keeping the action in-engine. As with the last game, there's still a reliance on video sequences to mask loading times at points - such as before and after the prologue scene in the diner. However it's now much rarer to see this trick, and as a result, gameplay seamlessly shifts into cut-scenes with single camera pans, showing off the high level of character detail during close-ups that might not have been caught in play.
