Its interesting that two of the theories on that page were actually storylines in Mass Effect and Star Ocean lol.

Man I love space stories and theories.

No paradox, just no advanced aliens.

Earth is a very unique and lucky planet.


Also there are five galaxies that emit super high amounts of radiation, compared to what they should. Maybe those are level three civs.

Yeah, calling it a paradox is a bit over the top.
Based on such factors, it seems we should have lots of life, but we can't find any. 
Which isn't really a paradox, it's just getting a different result than one would expect.  :P

Plus we don't know how common life is at all.  Might be pretty common, or perhaps there's only a few advanced forms in the whole universe.
