You know, they should have just did their best to turn this into a new IP, build it up, and then swap every other year with this and Assassin's Creed.  But hey, why make sense?

they completely forgot the core of AC games. they should have made AC4 into a new pirates IP. and like you said, have a rotation between the franchises.

if this was made into a new IP... ughh... i doubt it would sell. it just looks so bad. Unity looks like a much better game.

I don't know, I like the idea of Victorian London GTA.

id like an any era GTA. because GTA is awesome. but AC:S isnt a Victorian London GTA, far from it.

also, is it me, or does it visually look worse than AC: Unity?

i fail to see the difference in AC having games released in various eras and CoD having games released in various eras...

This is definitely an AC though lol. Most people's problems with AC is that they are all mostly the same with some minor variations or gimmicks added to the "experience" with each iteration.

AC not having stealth has been a problem since basically after the first game. 2 and Brotherhood did have some good stealth too though but they felt more actiony still.

Dont care much about stealth - love the action and the story of the AC games I've played so far.

I'll be getting this one but wont anytime soon - still need to get black flag, unity and rogue.

Gonna play AC3 and Liberation soon .
