I have 4 different Battlefield games, because of these sales....
I've never played any of them.

I always think it's funny that a lot of gamers will talk about anniversaries for games as being a big deal.

Like:
- oh Santa Monica is saving the God of War trilogy remaster for the 20th anniversary.
- Sony is going to announce a showcase for the 25th anniversary of PlayStation
- Maybe Sony is going to announce a Bloodborne remaster for the 10th year anniversary.

Despite the fact, that with one exception I don't think I've ever seen companies do anything that meaningful for an anniversary. The big exception is the Super Mario Bros 35 - which wasn't even like a specific day. They released a game for that a month later.

Mass Effect has N7 day, but it's not an anniversary.

I think the issue with anniversary days in the gaming industry is that development of games and gaming content takes a lot of time, and is hard to release on time. Even if you plan something 4 years in advance, it could still not be ready on time.

So trying to plan something for anniversary is very hard.

I plan to. I started on my series X, I just couldn't get into it at the time. Just something about playing on Xbox that I don't really care for.

I prefer gaming on PS5 because of the controller, but otherwise it's just a box for me. No difference.
