None of it actually points to MS.  Just that they might be getting acquired.

The CEO gave a nonspecific denial to the rumors of MS buying them.  Nonspecific in this case meaning it could have meant anything. That MS isn't buying them. That they didn't back down from their price.
It could be false, as it could be someone else's price.

In the end it might mean nothing.  Or that someone else like Sony is buying them.

I really hope its not MS buying bungie... fudgy hell...

i feel like sony needs to go on a buying spree to "match" MS but i'm not sure bungie is the best fit.  free-to-play titles need to remain multiplat to survive so unless they kill the game and move on...   well, tbh destiny needs to die regardless but sony would get a ton of bad press if they were the ones to do it.

i think bungie is working on a new franchise but i expect that it will be a GaaS model like destiny (aka multiplat or die).  i'm not sure that bungie even wants to go back to the epic single player games.

so i don't know who would buy them but i wouldn't want it to be ms and i wouldn't want it to be sony.

Someone suggested Netease is the most likely. As they have already invested in the company.

ugh,.  the only thing worse than sony or ms is china.  how to i delete my old destiny account before china tries to exploit that data to (edit: further) ruin democracy??

looking to be acquired makes sense though.  i think bungie really blew it with destiny and they've run out of good will.  fantastic gameplay.  terrible business model.  seems to me like the community is on the decline.   I can't imagine their f2p transition is going well,.. the game wasn't designed well for f2p from the start and their efforts to transition to better support f2p was not great for the couple of months i was still around to play.

The devs focused so hard on making Crash 4 challenging they forgot to make most of it fun. Just blazing through the levels and ignoring boxes is okay, but it doesn't feel like you're playing Crash properly if you do that and it makes the game so much shorter. But going for boxes is often infuriatingly hard and can cause you to die over and over and over in the same spot which just isn't fun at all. The controls being heavily momentum based make it not really fun to try and nail down precise movements that you need for a lot of it, especially the super hard bonus levels.

They nailed so much about the game, its gorgeous, has lots of content, varied levels and lots of gameplay variety, funny story moments etc. but it feels like they missed the mark with the fundamental control and gameplay feel. As I play the game for more than about half an hour I'm just sitting there glumly pushing on rather than enjoying myself, which really sucks.

To me the beauty of crash was going through the level as fast as I can.
