I expect at least 2.7m shipped in Q1 FY15.

So at end of June it will be ~25m shipped.

PS4 is selling yet ~900k per month... crazy how it not slowed down yet.
What did it do last year again?

OT:
"As for the future of the PS4, Sony expects sales to stay steady, with 16 million more units sold in the next year."

Price cut confirmed lol

Dr. Pezus

Net loss is $1.1B but operating profit is up about 150% YOY, to over $500m.

Game & Network Services division:

Sales increased 33.0% year-on-year (a 25% increase on a constant currency basis) to 1,388.0 billion yen (11,567
million U.S. dollars). This significant increase was primarily due to an increase in PS4 hardware unit sales, a
significant increase in network services revenue, the impact of foreign exchange rates and an increase in PS4
software sales, partially offset by a decrease in PlayStation®3 ("PS3") hardware and PS3 software sales.

Operating income of 48.1 billion yen (401 million U.S. dollars) was recorded, compared to an operating loss of
18.8 billion yen in the previous fiscal year. This significant improvement was primarily due to the impact of the
above-mentioned increase in sales, partially offset by the impact of the decrease in PS3 software sales, the
unfavorable impact of the appreciation of the U.S. dollar reflecting the high ratio of U.S. dollar-denominated costs,
as well as the recording of an 11.2 billion yen (93 million U.S dollars) write-down of PS Vita and PS TV
components in the current fiscal year. In the previous fiscal year, a 6.2 billion yen write-off of certain PC
software titles was recorded.

OT: Does anyone have software numbers?

So maybe 2.2-2.4m this year I think. Which would put it at 24.5-24.7m

I expect more... they don't have more inventory to use from Holidays... and they need to sell at least 1.3m more than last year to reach the forecast.

900k per month  = ~2.7m shipped in next quarter.

16 million.
Yes. And they will do that with a price cut in Sept/Oct. It's going to be slightly down until then.

I don't know... I guess they will ship ~2.7m in Q1 to hold the same inventory (~1m on shelves).
