There does seem to be a lot more negativity around these days, but definitely a disproportionate amount aimed at The Order. Hopefully the game will be good enough to shut people up though.

not really any more than what was directed at ryse or driveclub.   they were pretty and therefore the only logical answer is because the developers didn't give any time to gameplay.  once is a quick-time feast with no redeeming qualities and the other is dated by not being open world because roads are for chumps.

uncharted is a tomb raider clone because of that pick axe gameplay element and no one can enjoy good gameplay if it isn't innovative.

bloodborne is ugly and an unplayable 30 fps.

halo is a shell of itself without bungie.

hate for the order is only disproportionate because it is the next to release.  just a week ago evolve was a dlc infested shell of a game not worth playing because there was $60 - $136 dollars with of day 1 (cosmetic) dlc in a game offering free mp maps.

one by one each one will be torn apart because gamers no longer like playing games.  they are entitled babies that take more enjoyment out of seeing companies go bankrupt or developers getting doxed and SWATted than they do in playing games.   this is half the reason i spend more time here than at vgcz.  i fudgy hate "gamers" these days.  i'd rather be a casual then be associated with those filthy assholes.

Yeah it's a ruff period with all that stuff going on.

Plus it gets hard since nothing's black and white. Like I made a thread about u4 being a tomb raider clone, but I'm just having fun and doing it out of love. I'm probably the biggest Uncharted fan around here. Heck I even like Uncharted fight for fortune! Yet then there are other guys saying very similar things, but coming from the complete opposite direction.

And even then there's still not much consistency. Given that pattern you'd think Witcher 3 would be the biggest target, considering those games combat is even worse than Ryse and just has horrible gameplay all around. But it's not exclusive I guess.

You did not just say that!

the-pi-guy

The combat in Ryse is better than The Witcher?  Can't agree with that.

yup. The Witcher 2's combat actually requires quite some skill.

Both have really bad combat. But at least Ryse has some satisfying-looking violent executions. Enough to edge it out.

Max King of the Wild

Let's keep the Witcher doom talk in the Witcher thread please.

Are you talking about 1 or 2 or both?
