man it went down from 429 to 299 in the UK. that is massive. did the PS4 get an official price cut there?

Retailers are selling it at ~280.

Nope but no retailer sells it at 349. You can easily find PS4 bundles with 2 or 3 games for 349 now when PS4+ one game was 385 at launch. Nowhere near the XB1's drop though
