Square Enix has announced that the Tomb Raider reboot originally released in 2013 has claimed a third franchise record. The title already sold more on its first day and in its first month than any other game in the series. Now it owns the top sales spot overall, too.
This morning, the publisher shared that 8.5 million copies of the reboot have been sold across all five of the platforms it was released on. The title originally launched in 2013 on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. A "definitive edition" arrived on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in early 2014.

When you consider that only a few Months after the game launched it was considered a commercial failure... These numbers are fantastic.

LOL! And people think MS paid full exclusivity for this? If so, SE is stupider than everyone thought

I'd buy that for a dollar

For Steam you could of bought the entire collection of every Tomb Raider game except for the last Lara croft game for about $15 :O
