first party was invented to create "system sellers" or basically to distiguish why someone should buy into 1 platform instead of another.

putting all 1st party titles onto PC was the biggest reason xbox died as a platform.   yeah a lot of stuff happened but making it so the xbox platform has no games not on PC make the xbox platform have nothing to distinguish it.   in fact PC has more games than xbox so xbox is the lesser platform.

i totally get gamers wishing every single game came to their platform but it's bad business.   each of the platform holder need something to distinguish why their platform is the one people should invest in.

i 110% doubt sony is making enough money on PC releases to justify the risks of having their psn store and ps+ subscription die to a migration of gamers from console to PC.

and especially given how steam is threatening consoles with steam machines and xbox is threatening to "steal"  sony's exclusive via multi store support sony could quickly collapse if it becomes the platform of least value like xbox did to itself.

Hopefully its just a slow down of porting and not a total cold turkey stop on SP games.

I would like to think more that they barely have anything to port over (aside from GT7, Demon's Souls and Astro Bot which all came out around or more than 2 years).

If nothing main SP titles come out this year, then the dream is dead.

(Still sad that Demon's Souls isnt on PC).
