Pretty disappointing to be honest.

well it's only been about 2 years since part 2 so if it's in production then at least it's a reasonable quick turn around.

gotta have cannon for their HBO show.

Makes sense. I loved part 2 but it feels like a once a decade game. If part 3 is just as dark, I don't know if I'd be a fan. I think it needs a new angle.

Guess we're relying on Santa Monica to bring the new I.P freshness. At least Uncharted is coming back as TLOU 2 was too intense for me. I need to replay TLOU to see if that is just as intense.

Bend Studios are also working on a new IP, so at least another "big" sony studio is making a new single player new IP too.

I wonder what sucker punch are working on but its probably another ghost game

Sucker Punch had a job opening for "someone who was familiar with Ghost of Tsushima's combat system".
Seems pretty certain they are making a sequel of some kind.

i'm sure ND is hopefully planning a new IP. I figured it would be Part 3 as their next game, then new IP. Hopefully just giving support to a new studio for Uncharted.

Yeah its been a while since they made a new IP. 2013. I dont want them to go 2 gens without a new IP, when they used to make a new IP every generation. I also don't want them turning into an uncharted/tlou machine

Oh yeah it's just a ND new I.P compared to Bend is a big difference and I say that as someone who loved Days Gone. I really hope Bend's new I.P is a big hit.
