cut the cord! I find the second tier the best. It has extra sports and music and cooking and stuff. 60 a month. 3rd tier is a ripoff though. It has like BET Gospel and CNN world. Mostly useless channels and it's 70 a month.

Since I have comcast internet, I'm getting a good bundle deal. Dropping cable would mean dropping internet too, or a big price increase.

Plus I have more channels than vue. Sony needs time to expand their lineup.

how many of those channels do you actually watch though? I surely don't watch 99% of channels and that's why I was hoping vue would be a la carte. I hate that I have to pay 100 bucks for 1000 channels but only watch 10. I should only have to pay 1 dollar for 10 channels!!!

CW, ABC, NBC, CBS, PBS, Fox, USA, FX, FXX, History, Sci Fi, Spike, AMC, Comedy Central, Travel, TrueTV, HBO, Cartoon Network, Music Choice, ion, A&E, ABCFam, Animal Planet, CNBC, CNN, Science, TBS, 256, and TNT are all channels I enjoy having. Plus xfinity on demand is just fantastic. I've never had any desire for a DVR since all the shows just pop up on demand for free a few hours after they air.

Saving money is something I'm very much interested in. It just has to be in the form of a downgrade.

i haven't read everything hear yet, but I am very likely to get one or the other in the near future
I don't currently have cable cause prices are rediculous and most companies don't have the upload speeds I need to properly use the smart devices I have currently (ps4 shareplay/stream, dropcams)

not cable channels

Sure, but then I'd have to buy an additional box and antenna to get them anyway.

how old is your tv? Most tvs should have the box built in. I just moved and couldn't get my antenna to pick anything up. Obnoxious but I'd rather have nothing than pay for cable personally. Last place I lived the last owner put a big antenna on the roof. That shame picked up all those channels with cable clarity.

BTW I came home yesterday and the service told me to "catch up" and the last few hours of tv on each channel I could watch. It was cool. So let's say I forgot to dvr blacklist last night i could still watch it after airing. I didn't have the service on the 18th but I was able to watch the episode of always sunny that aired that day. Not sure how that works because even though I watched it all yesterday I was basically just watching TV and not paying attention to the features. I work too much.

he is still on an SD tv,. that's why vizionecks visuals are soo basic.   it's the most detail he can see on his screen.

I've always been 1080p, it's just that up until a month ago I was on a really cheap 1080p. Was like 2bit color depth.

@Max

My TV tv is from 2009. Top of the line, but only focuses on image quality. No extra features.

My newer 3D tv is a smart tv so it'd be good, but that TV is for the home theater. Never watched TV on it. Just movies, games, and streams.

I was joking too, but I guess you didn't understand 2bit colors.
